Zahedi dates
Grown on Phoenix dactylifera, also known as the date palm tree, dates are sweet tropical fruits that have been part of Middle Eastern cuisine for thousands of years. There are numerous kinds of dates, varying in size, color, texture, etc. One of those kinds is Zahedi Date. Dates in general and Zahedi dates, in particular, are an excellent source of energy. With no cholesterol and very little fat, they make for a perfect snack for those on a special diet. They are also full of protein, which helps improve muscle strength and overall body health.
General Description
Zahedi dates are recognizable through their yellowish light brown color and sweet taste and natural aroma. Free-flowing Zahedi dates with an almost hard texture and low moisture, are categorized as semi-dry dates.

Shelf-life and Storage Conditions
